Chris Lazenby; has been a freelance designer since 1984.
I completed a four year design course and worked in a couple of agencies, and then pursued a career as a musician for about seven years.
I travelled the world, returned home and began producing design and artwork, if memory serves, for a small housebuilding company and a local restaurant.
By word of mouth I landed a contract freelancing for Northcliffe newspaper group which gave me access to a wide number of clients, new car dealerships, toy balloon manufacturers and new home-builders to name but a few.
I now freelance for a range of clients including a large national Home-building company and an international media buying agency, giving a nice balance of both tight deadline restriction in the case of advertising and a more studied approach for brochure work.
This involves sourcing photography, Computer generated illustration and supplying hi quality print.
No large agency overheads, just a personal service backed with 25 years of experience.
